| Sportsmanship and self-esteem prepare children for the challenges of growing up. The Berea Youth Soccer Club develops confidence and strength in our children through the competition and physical activity of team sports. One of our missions is to develop and operate a supervised soccer program and to instill in the youth of the Berea Community the ideals of good sportsmanship, fair play, and honesty for the betterment of their physical and social well being. The Berea Youth Soccer Club is registered as a not-for-profit organization. Berea Youth Soccer Club's structure consists of an all-volunteer Board of Directors and volunteer coaches and team managers. These adults act as role models for the children of the BYSC. This involvement in the lives of children provides a positive influence that extends beyond the boundaries of the soccer fields. We are a member of the Suburban Recreational Soccer League (SRSL-BOYS AND GIRLS Recreational Soccer) the American Amateur Soccer League (AASL-BOYS Travel Soccer), and the Northern Ohio Girls Soccer League (NOGSL-GIRLS Travel Soccer) where all players with the ability and desire to play at a competitive level compete against other local surrounding communities. In addition to providing an organized sport for the children of our community, this organization provides the opportunity for parents and families to interact in a positive manner. The Berea Youth Soccer Club also provides adults with the opportunity to expand their potential through experiences such as coaching, and by developing interpersonal, organizational, administrative and leadership skills needed to run a volunteer organization such as ours. In order to continue with our program we need sponsors to help fund the Berea Youth Soccer Club. Sponsors help supply the youth of our programs with uniforms, soccer goals, field maintenance, website support, signage, awards, and the other related equipment to maintain the club and help with the growth of the club.
